Chloe Sheridan is developing a broad property and commercial practice.
In March 2018, Chloe acted as the junior in a 17-day High Court trial concerning the ownership of a football club whereby issues such as proprietary estoppel and partnership law were raised. Chloe conducted a number of cross-examinations throughout that trial. In her own right, Chloe has advised and acted in a range of property-related disputes, ranging from adverse possession claims and injunctions to prevent trespass, collective enfranchisement and residential and commercial service charge disputes in the First Tier Tribunal. Chloe also has experience in mediations and can accept instructions via direct access.
In addition to property matters, Chloe has also been instructed in a number of contentious and non-contentious probate matters and matters involving company disputes. Since becoming a tenant, as well as continuing to accept instructions in her own right, she been instructed as a junior on a number of upcoming cases involving multiple parties and as a junior on an appeal to the Court of Appeal.
Chloe is able to combine an analytical mind with a practical, problem-solving approach and an understanding of the commercial realities of her client’s interests. She prides herself on communicating well with solicitors and clients and making herself available our of hours when necessary.
Chloe joined Chambers in September 2017 upon the successful completion of her pupillage. Her pupil supervisors were Daniel Dovar, Tim Polli QC and Mark Loveday. During pupillage Chloe gained a wide experience of Chambers’ main practice areas including commercial and residential property, landlord and tenant, commercial litigation and probate and trusts.
