Michael Walsh has written for the Estates Gazette on the Government’s latest proposals for reform of leasehold.
In his article entitled ‘What’s the point of leasehold?’ he argues that outright abolition of leasehold is impossible and unnecessary and what is needed is bolder reforms, such as the abolition of terms and forfeiture for residential long-leases.
