Evening Standard: Ex-businessman ‘forced frail parents out of £1.5m house and into care home’

A retired businessman packed his frail and ageing parents off to a care home so he could take over their £1.5 million Islington home, a court heard.
Harry Kousouros, 82, is accused by his half-sister Anna Arresti of “pressuring their parents into moving into residential care”. Mrs Arresti, 63, claims he “pushed” them to relocate to their native Cyprus “because their care would be cheaper there”.
Her barrister Gerald Wilson (Tanfield Chambers) told the Central London county court that Mr Kousouros cajoled his parents, George and Aglaia, into signing over their five-storey home in Offord Road when neither of them “knew what they were signing”.
