Marc Glover set to appear in the Supreme Court

Marc Glover is set to appear in the Supreme Court on 24-25 February 2014.
Marc is instructed by the Respondents in Barnes (as former Court Appointed Receiver) v EG & Another – UKSC 2013/0006.
The appeal concerns the long established common law rule that a receiver can take his remuneration (etc) from receivership assets. In the lower courts Marc has successfully argued that the common law rule must yield to Article 1 Protocol 1 of the European Convention when the receivership assets comprise the property of a third party which should not have been caught up in the receivership.
