Following a year of substantial growth, Tanfield Chambers has once again been ranked highly in the Legal 500 directory. The set has solidified its position amongst the top property sets being ranked at tier two. The directory stated:

“Tanfield Chambers is ‘renowned for its strength in property law’ and ‘pre-eminence in the area of leasehold enfranchisement’. The barristers are ‘exceptionally talented’ and the set is praised for its ‘strength in depth’, not only in the property space but also across the civil law spectrum.”

The practice management team were also praised, with each of our senior practice managers being noted for their ability to provide excellent service to our clients.

"The clerks’ room provides ‘an excellent service’ and the senior practice managers are recommended: Zoe Bluck is ‘always a pleasure to deal with’ and ‘making a big effort to build relationships with law firms’; Richard Powell is ‘becoming an asset to chambers very quickly due to his ability to think on his feet, offer alternative counsel, and negotiate competently and confidently on fees’; and Billy Forecast is ‘very helpful and turns things around quickly’. Eamonn Kelly is chambers’ chief executive.”
