Amanda is described as approachable and practical, with the mainstay of her practice being family work involving matrimonial finance, including TLATA and co-habitation claims, Injunctions under s37 MCA, Injunctions under Part IV of the Family Law Act 1996 and public and private Children Act cases.

She has a particular interest  in cases with an international element having given several lectures on Child Abduction and Brussels II bis and having written articles on International Adoption and the approach taken in other common law jurisdictions to the thorny issue of the rights of co-habitees.

Amanda has also lectured on various law courses at the University of Westminster.

In addition to her family practice, Amanda is regularly instructed on a wide variety of civil matters, including a developing practice in personal injury matters.
