Profile
Darren joined Tanfield Chambers in July 2006. Prior to his call to the Bar he worked as a Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Rights - Civil Proceedings) for six years during which time he was a member of the Law Society Children Panel.
Darren obtained his Higher Rights through the Exemption Route due to the high level and quality of his advocacy.
Experience
Darren practices almost exclusively in the area of public law child care with the remainder of his practice being in relation to private Children Act proceedings. He regularly represents two of the largest Local Authorities in the South East of England as well as children's guardians and parents.
