Andrew became a tenant of Tanfield Chambers in October 2005.
Prior to being called to the Bar he worked as a solicitor in the Litigation and Arbitration department of White & Case LLP (spending time in both the London and Hong Kong offices).
Andrew practices in property law, commercial litigation, international arbitration, and employment law.

Property
Landlord and tenant (both residential and commercial): Andrew’s experience includes:
- All types of possession claims
- Anti-social behaviour
- Lease renewals
- Service charge disputes
Real property: Andrew has acted in and advised upon matters involving:
- Claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996
- Co-ownership
- Easements
- Mortgages
Commercial
Commercial: Andrew has wide experience of advising upon and appearing in general commercial and contract claims. He has also advised on non-contentious matters including the drafting of commercial contracts.
Arbitration: Andrew has experience of arbitration and mediation (including being instructed in several international arbitrations).
Insolvency: Andrew acts on behalf of both creditors and debtors in all aspects of both personal and corporate insolvency.
Employment:
Andrew has appeared in a wide range of employment cases on behalf of both claimants and Respondents in relation to matters including:
