Gemma is a candid, sensitive and approachable Barrister, who is known for staying calm under pressure. Clients appreciate Gemma’s composed, thorough and common sense approach to her work.
Gemma appears regularly in courts and tribunals in a wide range of civil and common law matters including business and commercial, employment, property and personal injury and is often called upon to deal with procedural issues. She is happy to act for Claimants, Defendants, Applicants and Respondents. Gemma is frequently instructed to undertake advisory work and drafting in all areas.
Recently Gemma began working with the Treasury Solicitor’s Department as part of the scheme designated for very junior Barristers who are not yet panellist members.
Gemma’s interests include music, singing and languages. She speaks German to a high standard and also has specific knowledge of legal German.
