Laura Robinson is an employment specialist who represents large corporations, SMEs, public and government bodies, local authorities and private individuals. Laura can advise on all aspects of employment law, but specialises in discrimination, TUPE and breach of contract. She assists clients with writing or updating employment policies and procedures. She is a member of the Attorney General’s B Panel of Treasury Counsel.
Laura delves to the heart of complex cases easily and is described as personable and down to earth, with the ability to adapt her demeanour and advocacy style to suit different situations and opponents. Laura understands the tactics of litigation and is able to assist those instructing at an early stage, with sensible practical advice on avoiding litigation, helping with ADR strategy and appearing in Tribunals and Courts at all levels.
Laura has a passion for using her skills as a barrister to help others, she regularly participates on the ELAAS scheme and volunteers with the Bar Pro Bono Unit. In her spare time Laura enjoys reading and travelling to unusual destinations, most recently Botswana and Namibia.
