Profile

Mandy joined Tanfield Chambers in 2005 and practices exclusively in Family Law; she undertakes all aspects of it.
 
In Public Law children matters, she has represented both parents and grandparents in care proceedings and her experience includes cases of Non Accidental Injury involving complex medical evidence and applications within care proceedings for Special Guardianship Orders.
 
Mandy deals with all aspects of Private Law including residence, contact and Parental Responsibility applications as well as Hague Convention proceedings, contested ‘Leave to Remove’ applications and representation of National Youth Advocacy Service Guardians. She also has experience of Schedule 1 applications and Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees applications within family proceedings.

She also practices in Ancillary Relief, from First Appointment through to Final Hearing.
 
Mandy is particularly good at reassuring and dealing with a wide variety of clients from differing backgrounds.

Experience

Mandy has experience practicing in all aspects of Family Law including Public and Private Law Children Act, Ancillary Relief and Family Law Act applications including injunctive proceedings and advice and representation in recognition of foreign marriages and divorce.

She has also worked as a Trainer on advocacy courses for The College of Law and CLT
