Profile

Robert completed pupillage in chambers between 1995 and 1997.  From 1997 to 2007, he practised from chambers a combination of property, commercial and chancery law, acting for leading lending institutions, property owners and developers, local authorities and listed companies.  He was recommended in Chambers' Guide to the UK Legal Profession in 2006 and 2007 as a leading junior at the Bar in property litigation.

In 2007, Robert emigrated to Australia, re-qualified and at the end of 2008 was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Western Australia.  He now practises commercial litigation in Perth, Western Australia.
 
Robert maintains close contact with, and very occasionally misses, chambers.

Experience

Robert has acted for numerous leading companies, institutional landlords, local authorities, property developers, banks and building societies.  He has made four appearances in the Court of Appeal, each successful.
